ALICE FAYE?

Alice Faye

ALICE FAYE (1915-1998), born Alice Jeanne Leppert, she was one of the greatest and brightest musical stars of the 1930s and 40s.

Alexander's Ragtime Band (1938)

Haven't you seen Alexander's Ragtime Band (1938)? This is one of her best, also starring her frequent co-stars, Tyrone Power and Don Ameche. There's a TON of wonderful musical numbers!

Watch this and then see these other four films.

That Night In Rio (1941) Another great one, with her most frequent co-star, the fabulous Don Ameche.
Hello Frisco, Hello (1943) In which she introduced a song that was written especially for her (and an Oscar winning song at that), "You'll Never Know".
In Old Chicago (1938) The great Chicago fire is the backdrop for this one; very entertaining.
Tin Pan Alley (1940) With John Payne and Betty Grable, this movie will keep you singing all night long.
