MAE CLARKE?

Mae Clarke

MAE CLARKE (1910-1992), born Violet Mary Klotz, got the grapefruit in the face from Cagney in The Public Enemy, but she did a lot more than that!

Frankenstein (1931)

Haven't you seen Frankenstein (1931)? She's Elizabeth, the doctor's fiancée.

Watch this and then see these other four films.

The Public Enemy (1931)
Waterloo Bridge (1931) Mae is the star; this was later remade with Vivien Leigh.
The Penguin Pool Murder (1932) A small part for Mae, but a witty and entertaining film.
Great Guy (1936) Another pairing with Cagney.
