ROBERT DONAT?

Robert Donat

ROBERT DONAT (1905-1958), born Friedrich Robert Donath, was one of the finest actors ever to appear on screen, even though he didn't make many movies. The few he did show off his talent very well.

Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1939)Haven't you seen Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1939)? This is the film that Robert Donat got an Oscar for. He deserved it. This should be the first Donat movie anyone sees, you're bound to enjoy his performance. In my opinion he never turned in a bad performance.

Watch this and then see these other four films.

The Citadel (1938)
Knight Without Armour (1937)
The Ghost Goes West (1936)
The 39 Steps (1935)
