Who Are...FLYNN AND DE HAVILLAND?
FLYNN and DE HAVILLAND, Errol Flynn (1909-1959), born Errol Leslie Flynn, and Olivia de Havilland (1916-present), born Olivia Mary de Havilland, starred in eight movies together from 1935-1941 and were a tremendous success for Warner Bros.
A fine place to start is by viewing: The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) Flynn plays the role to perfection, and Olivia is great as Maid Marion.
See that and watch them in the following:
Captain Blood (1935) Their first movie together, and one of Hollywood's greatest swashbuckling films.
Dodge City (1939) A great and funny western in Technicolor.
They Died With Their Boots On (1941) This was Errol and Olivia's last movie together. Especially touching is their farewell scene.
The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936) Another action film, this one about British lancers in India.
