Gunga Din (1931) publicity still

Haven't you seen Gunga Din (1931)? This was one of the great films of Hollywood's greatest year. Jaffe is outstanding in the title role, holding his own amidst a fantastic cast.

Watch this and then see these other four films.

The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951) Jaffe is the Einstein-like scientist, Professor Barnhardt, in this science fiction classic. I believe he actually understands the equations, he's so convincing.
Lost Horizon (1937) Jaffe is the High Lama of Shangri-La.
The Asphalt Jungle (1950) Jaffe is the criminal mastermind in this classic crime film.
Ben-Hur (1959) Jaffe is Simonedes, the faithful steward of the House of Hur.
