Don't Know...GEORGE CUKOR?

George Cukor

You really should know who GEORGE CUKOR (1899-1983) is! George Cukor was one of Hollywood's most talented directors.

The Philadelphia Story (1940) Poster

A fine place to start is by viewing: The Philadelphia Story (1940). A very funny, delightful and romantic movie with Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn and James Stewart, who won the Best Actor Oscar, in the starring roles.

Watch this and then see these other four films.

Born Yesterday (1950) A comedy, very funny starring William Holden and Judy Holiday, who won the Best Actress Oscar in 1950 for her portrayal of the dizzy blonde Billie Dawn.
A Star is Born (1954) A musical drama with some lovely songs and great performances from Judy Garland and James Mason.
Holiday (1938) A comedy romance starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn.
My Fair Lady (1964) A musical comedy starring Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison.
