Nina M.'s AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER

An Affair to Remember (1957)

AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER (1957) A romantic tear-jerker with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr in the lead roles playing a couple who fall in love with each other whilst onboard a cruise ship. When they first meet aboard the ship they are attached to other people, but both of their partners are in America. After getting to know one another on the cruise they decide that they want to be together in America, but decide to wait until six months later to meet up to be sure they want to be together and to both sort out their work and financial obligations. They arrange to meet at the top of the Empire State Building which appointment Cary Grant keeps, but Deborah Kerr does not. If you want to know what happens next, you will just have to watch it. I recommend buying it, there is romance, humour, drama and sadness with superb acting by both Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr.
