HIS GIRL FRIDAY (1940)--a fast pace and fast talking screwball comedy directed by Howard Hawks

It stars Cary Grant as newspaper editor Walter Burns and Rosalind Russell as reporter Hildy Johnson the ex-wife of Burns. Hildy comes into the office to tell Walter that she is leaving the newspaper business and getting remarried. She plans to marry her fiance played by Ralph Bellamy. Walter does not want her to leave the newspaper and also wants to win her back from her future husband. He tries to persuade her to stay but she says she won't. She does decide to do one last report for him on a murder trial.

This is a really great fun, exciting and wonderful movie. Please give it a look.
