MOVIE MEMORABILIA: I have recently started collecting movie lobby cards. At the moment I am primarily collecting cards from Betty Hutton movies.

FAVORITE MOVIES: There are so many it is hard to choose, but here it goes..... The Quiet Man (1952), Red Dust (1932), Gone With The Wind (1939), My Man Godfrey (1936), Holiday Inn (1942) and of course, White Christmas (1954), Annie Get Your Gun (1950), The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), Incendiary Blonde (1945), The Perils of Pauline (1947), Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte (1964), Bringing Up Baby (1938), North by Northwest (1959), To Catch A Thief (1955), Rebecca (1940), The Tall Men (1955), The Rains Came (1939), and The Thin Man series (1934-1947).

FAVORITE ACTORS/ACTRESSES: Clark Gable, Jean Harlow, John Wayne, Carole Lombard, William Powell, Myrna Loy, Joseph Cotten, Agnes Moorehead, Cary Grant, Betty Hutton, Charlton Heston, Grace Kelly ....


TESTIMONY: I love classic movies because they have a glamour that seems to be lost with current movies. Classic movies have a way of transporting you to another time and place. Who wouldn't want to be dripping in jewels like Marlene Dietrich, fighting Indians with John Wayne, dancing with Fred Astaire or walking into the sunset with Charlie Chaplin as the scene slowly fades out.
